In some municipalities, an arborist report may also be required for a tree removal application.
Tree Removal
Wood Milling
At Magnolia, we provide wood slabs sourced from removed trees to both owners and other interested individuals. Our milling process transforms the trunks into slabs which can be utilized to create unique and stunning pieces such as one-off table tops, kitchen countertops, vanity tops, coffee tables, outdoor benches, and more. By opting for this service, we ensure that the wood is repurposed and saved from being discarded as firewood or sent to green waste recycling centers.
Firewood & Woodchips
Our commitment at Magnolia is to maximize the use of every bi-product generated from our job sites. For instance, we frequently generate wood chips from our work, which we offer for free to anyone interested, instead of taking them to the green waste dump. Wood chips have several benefits such as being ideal for garden walkways, trails, moisture retention, and weed suppression. If you are in the greater Vancouver area and need wood chips, give us a call and we'll arrange to have chips delivered. When we remove trees, we end up with a lot of wood rounds that are ready for splitting. You can either collect the wood from our job sites at your convenience, or stop by our yard where we have lots of split, season dried firewood for sale.
